On our way to visit Chris and Rick ianchesn Mter, Vermont we passed Creative Custom Woodward in Housick Falls, NY with not only these Big Chairs but probably an acre or two of regular sized Adirondack chairs displayed and ready for sale. We stopped on our way home to grab these photos. A little farther along Rt. 22 there was a farm market where we picked up some sugared donuts and apple cider.
I’ve never experienced such a concentration of Big Things in an area. The area from Nags Head to Kitty Hawk is for some reason just loaded with Big Chairs. I would like to meet the salesperson that was able to sell so many chairs in such a small area. This collage is only 6 of the 10 chairs that I found. For all I know there were more that I didn’t find.

We’ve been past Rhoads Garden a number of times and didn’t stop to grab this Big Chair. Nice chair and I understand Rhoads Garden is a very good garden center. If you are in southeast Pennsylvania stop in. They’re at 570 DeKalb Pike in North Wales.

Ben had told me about this Big Chair previously and when we were on the way back from shopping we stopped by to grab this image. The chair is in front of a farmer’s market on PA940 at the corner with Long Pond Road.

We planned to visit McClure’s Apple Haus and get an image of their Big Apple reported by my Bird Dog Erica. We spotted this Big Chair with a Michigan mitten forming the back. After getting this image and the apple we went inside to get some fresh cider and newly baked cinnamon donuts. Only in Fall!

Right across from the “World’s Largest Chimes,” we found this Rocking Chair. Now in the past I’ve seen some Big Chairs, this one may be the very largest.

Well, here is my first shared Big Thing photo. And how best to share it than with the first Grand Bird Dogger. Nate posed with this chair a while ago and when I was in South Jersey it was only natural that we would share this image capture. I think he may have a future with Big Things.
Deb and I and our friend Jerry were downtown to see the Ansel Adams exhibit at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. Jerry is an accomplished photographer and we wanted to get his comments on Ansel Adams, who has long been a favorite of mine. On the way to dropping Jerry off at his house we were passing by Family Leisure and wanted to look a new fire pit. Well, lo and behold, here was this Big Chair.

When we were up in Michigan to see my Uncle Ed we stopped at Andy T’s Farm Market as we always do. It’s always a treat to stop in for one reason or another. When we stopped this time we spotted this Big Chair.

My West Coast Bureau Chief alerted the Home Office to this Big (really huge) Chair near downtown LA. And she wasn’t kidding, this is the biggest chair I’ve seen. Look carefully, it’s big enough for a car to drive through. Maybe it’s made from Sequoia wood.

Here is another Big Item taken in front of Sullivan Hardware, on Keystone Avenue in Indianapolis. I have many shots taken at this location. See the Big Green Egg inflatable just a couple shots below this. This big Adirondack Chair showed up a few days ago and we stopped by to grab this shot before it disappeared. Thanks again, Sullivan’s and keep the Big Things coming.
This Big Rocker is not the biggest I have but it does fit the bill to be included on the site. It’s located in Hagerstown, Maryland. We stopped to grab this image and the next after visiting Harper’s Ferry on our Spring Break trip to Philadelphia. In Harper’s Ferry we stayed at The Angler Bed and Breakfast, something we rately do, and after a wonderful breakfast we started the day getting some Big Things.
