With my update of the website I found an image that is 12 years old and for some reason was never posted. I need to do it now. We were up in Detroit for Thanksgiving with the Davidsons and instead of shopping on Friday my brother-in law, Greg and Niece, Erica ventured out on a cold, rainy day to get some Big Things I had researched around the city. As we were on our way to a mini-golf course to get a couple of Big Animals Erica spotted the Big Apple atop Blake’s Big Apple Orchard. Founded in 1946 by Gerald and Elisabeth and their 13 children it’s still operating today for folks who want to pick their own apples. An unplanned capture!
