"Some Pretty Cool Links"

We all have lot's of things to take up our time. That is why I was so
surprised to find other folks out there that had an interest somewhat
similiar to mine. Although I have yet to find a site that is the same
as mine, there are a lot of sites that are interesting to me. This page
is devoted to acknowledging those people that have gone before me. If I
have missed anyone, I apologize. And let me
know.

Here are some interesting links:

Some BIG Guitars
Well he's finally made the Guiness Book in the next edition. Somehow we people that like "Big Things" find each other on the net. Mike has been crafting these for years. You need to check out his site!

Big Things in a Big Country
Here's a guy with a lot of stuff from north of the border, very well organized and fun to view. I have a some things in my "Big Things to Get" file but only a few are in Canada. I guess I will have to renew my efforts toward this wonderful country.

Ecentric America
Lot's of interesting stuff. Down South and out in California. I like this site and Mark has a lot of Big Things that I have added to my file of "Big Things to Photograph." Check it out, he's always on the prowl.

A Darn Big Catsup Bottle
There was a big Birthday Bash on June 13th in Collinsville, IL for this catsup bottle. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. Mike told me it would be a "Swell Time" I hope it was.

World's Largest Roadside Attractions
Lot's of really good ideas for future "Big Pictures." You can look up by state/province, category, etc. I suggest you check this one out now!

The Tackiest Places in America Contest
Not exactly Big Picture country but well worth the look-see.

Texas Roadside Icons
And I already had the Jackalope and Paisano Pete in my "Big Things to photograph file." No kidding, I really have one.

Roadside America
This is the commercial motherlode of unusual stuff, big and otherwise. Lot's of information on the well known Muffler Men Conspiracy as well as collateral information on Uniroyal Gals. I live near one of these "gals" and drive by quite often. She never fails to bring a smile to my face.

You may not realize it but there is a fairly hot situation brewing about big twine balls. Kansas boasts what they call the World's Largest Twine Ball. On the other hand Minnesota has a pretty substantial with this entry Twine Ball in Minnesota. I know passions can get heated when it comes to sizeable twine balls so I am not taking any sides in this one.

Enough nonsense, get me outta of here.
